We're discussing all the proposed changes and have assembled a list of things mentioned on the Concept Feedback concept page. Here's what we've got so far - in no particular order:
- Expand review section
- Upload images with review
- Expand review text box (toolbar?)
- Explain how to use markdown formatting
- Voting down concepts – shouldn’t require the use of a point
- 5 votes down (-5 score) kills a concept – no longer public, etc.
- Track concept / concept basket
- Track / not track concept
- Update user when there’s events associated with tracked concepts
- Comment posted
- Review Posted
- Concept Updated
- Create compound filtering methods (e.g.: enter 3 tags, show resulting concepts)
- Increase quality on images
- Brainstorm ability to post comments outside of reviews / comments
- Resource section with industry resources
- Concept created on date
- Concept expiration date? Ability to stop accepting reviews, etc.
- Usability for websites? (review category)
- Formatting tips for markdown editor
- Votes statistics box to be shown in profile
- Updated concept view – show concepts that have been updated by recently updated
- Add ability to click on concept image and add a note (similar to Flickr)
We are currently debating the sequence of these improvements so if you want to chime in - use the little vote tool on the right to put emphasis on the features you think are most important. I know the vote gadget sucks, but I can't be bothered to put something more advanced. :) I'd rather spend that time coding up the improvements to CF.
